You gotta love ol' Fred

Fred, a long-time AA member, let his son borrow his truck for the night.

At the next night's meeting, Sally, the group gossip & self-appointed monitor of the group's morals, accused Fred of drinking, after seeing his pickup parked in front of the town's only bar the night before. She had called other women in the group, and they went to see it too.

Fred, a man of few words, stared at her a moment, then turned & walked away.

Later that evening, Fred quietly parked his truck in front of Sally's house...walked home...and left it there all night.

I know its not nice for me to judge but I do get a kick out of it when the Sally`s of the world get whats comin to em

Hey... was that the same ol' Fred they wrote about in Chapter 3, More about alcoholism?

I remember the first time I read of ol' Fred and the Jaywalker in Chapter 3!!! I laughed so hard that I spilled my glass of whiskey all over myself and all over my bed... as I thought... "Now there's some guys I can identify with! They drink like me!!"
