Read this in an AA humor book

A man comes to his first AA meting with gauze wrapped around both ears. While people were introducing them selves to him, one asked about what happened. The poor man was ironing his clothes when the phone rang, and you guessed it. When they asked about the other ear he replied, the darned guy called back.
