Irritable.
I'm an alcoholic, my name Jack. When I came to AA I was Irritable, restless and discontent, now I'm just irritable. I knew I wasn't much but I was all I thought about.
Born 1952 in Chicago. I don't remember my first drink or when I started drinking alcoholically, I don't know if I was born Alcoholic, what's it matter?
Qualifications:
4 DUI'S
10 months in the state slammer
Stepped on everybody's toes
Ruined relationships with family and significant others.
Could not ever control my drinking
Spent 4 hours in the "Devil's Chair", my incomprehensible demoralization.
Spent 20 years around AA without working the steps or carrying the message.I had no message to carry.
On May 17th, 2007 I worked the entire 12 steps to the best of my ability finding rewarding sobriety..caveat > do 10 - 12 on a daily basis and don't beat myself up.
I carry the message to a man in prison which we can both relate and I can do maximum service.
I don't do ashtrays....
