Was clearing out my bookmarks and came on this website and forum so thot I'd join up. Forums can be a horrific waste of time and sometimes a great source of blessing, encouragement and helpful information. I hope and pray any posts I submit are of the latter variety.

Thanks for the welcome Michal and Dallas.

As time permits I'll share more, but I'm trying to put some restraints on my time spent on the Inet. I swear I can burn thru a whole weekend just dinkin around basically accomplishing nothing! This being part on my ongoing inventory based on step 10.

I keep thinkin and hopin that I'll one day get to the bottom of all this inventory stuff and be done wit it, but hasn't happened quite yet.

Welcome Michael_B. As Dallas said, "keep coming back". I've been in several forums and chat rooms only to find this the best. I find it more personable and the range of topics is by far the best. I'm sure if you keep it in your favorites list, it will soon be more than rewarding.

This forum is well run. Sometimes you have to take what you read here with anywhere from a grain to a whole shakerful of salt. In general, the forum is centered on the 12 Steps and the principles of AA.

I've learned some good stuff about AA's steps and sober living here. Occasionally someone with a personal agenda and a cranky attitude will show up and throw a few verbal wild punches, but the same thing can happen at AA meetings. 'First Things First, Live and Let Live and Easy Does It' as the Big Book reminds us.

Welcome to the forum, Michael. You've been sober a long time and doubtless have some good things to share with us.
