It is important to your sobriety to open up and share your problems to others so the weight is lifted off your chest. The amount you drink or how long you have been drinking is not important.
What is important is that you realize you have a problem and that it takes a power greater than yourself to help you with your problem.
As a person with the disease of alcoholism I am subject to many addictions. Whether it be caffeine, nicatine etc.
But once I work the program and realize the character defects that enhance my disease. I can fix them which helps me stay sober.
