Introduce yourself or read introductions from others!

Hey, everyone. My sponsor always tells me that 'faith and fear can't live in the same house," so I thought it was a good time to reach out and participate.
I've very much enjoyed everyone's sharing and wanted to officially join the gang...
Thanks for having me...

Welcome, Chuck! Love what your sponsor says. There's a poem like that -
Fear knocks on the door.
Faith answers.
Noone is there.
Something like that, at any rate!
Look forward to hearing from you. I've only been to one meeting on the East Coast of FL - on Singer Island. Nice, early A.M. beach meeting.

Hiya Chuck C.
Boy that name sounds familiar! You been up in the Akron-Cleveland area at all in your lifetime?
Got a good friend who lives somewhere in Florida, named Jimmy M. Over 40 years sober - sweetheart of a guy with a knockout slam dunk lead.
Glad to meet you and welcome.
Paul

Hey anniemac, thanks for the welcome!
I've been to that Singer Island beach meeting a few times (there's one in the morning and one at night too!) I went to rehab at Hanley Hazelden in WPB, and lived in the Palm Beach area for about 8 years...
Always liked the fact that the group gives out colored sea shells instead of chips...what a great touch...

I need a vacation!
A couple of weeks on the east coast of Florida -- with a meeting directory -- sounds like it would make a good start!

Hi Chuck!
I never made it to any meetings in the WPB area, but I used to live in Miami, and I can tell you about some good meetings there!
Welcome, and I look forward to getting to know you!
