Went to visit my son in a group home that he's in.

My son read the poems & said "I feel like that." I said , "You never have to feel like that again. There IS a program of recovery."

He looked at me like this was some amazing, revolutionary idea, He actually smiled.

Sunlight, Im so happy that your son felt that "sense" of hope. I can remember when I first heard it and felt it. I was so happy I cried. What a relief. The funny thing is I heard it alot of times before, it just didnt sink in until I was ready to feel it.

Thank you for the woo hoos, you twos! We never know when the seed that was planted will blossom & grow. Thinking back, the seed for me was planted WAY before I found my way into AA.
