Yes..I understand !!!

OPEN..... means open to public...

CLOSED.... means limited to persons who have a desire to stop drinking.. So YES you can go to a closed meeting.

From my understanding is that NA is really same format as AA sharing experiences and such.... I've been to 7 AA meetings and just got a copy of the big book yesterday... they will GIVE you one ...all you have to do is ask...trust me I know how hard it is to ask ... I just finally asked yesterday...

They must be pretty similiar ..there are regulars in my AA group that are also substance abusers...

Well this site has the Big book posted and the AA.org site has the Big Book available to read on line.


I have never seen the NA book. But it was written by committee and the AA Book was written by Bill W. and edited by the early members. So I would say very different.

It is a good read.
