Serenity Prayer( long version)

Postby ccs » Mon Sep 08, 2008 11:49 pm

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking,as He did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Thanx for this long version, Cessie. I just ordered printer ink, when I get it I'll be sure and print a few copies of this for my purse, home, and car.

Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Ah, yes..I see step 3 all over that.....:wink:

Oh and this too....

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;

And in doing so, I just may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

Amen and AMEN!

Peace to you, Cessie,

Julie
