Step Two
At times I thought I was superman
Arrows and bullets would bounce off my chest
In my mind I was completely indestructible
But my soul was in cardiac arrest
I thought I was the alpha omega
I wasn't lacking any vanity
But my disease was more cunning and baffling
And I was losing my sanity.
I had to find a greater power
That could help restore my life to me
I had to put my cape in the closet
If I really wanted to be free.
