HOPE IN FINDING MY WAY

Postby Serenity Seeker » Thu Nov 24, 2011 5:29 am

I WAS CRAWLING DOWN A ROAD I COULD NOT STAY
NOW, IN THESE ROOMS I AM SLOWLY FINDING MY WAY

FROM THE ONE WHO WRECKED THEIR CAR
AND IN DARKNESS COULD NOT SEE FAR

FROM THE MOTHER NEGLECTING HER KIDS
AND HER HEART FELT SHE COULD NOT LIVE

FROM THE MAN WHO LOST HIS WIFE
AND COULD NOT SEE ANOTHER WAY OF LIFE

FROM THE DAUGHTER WHO CRIED OUT LOUD
WHO ONLY WANTED TO MAKE HER MOTHER PROUD

FROM EVERY DRUNK IN WHICH HAS SHARED THEIR STORY
HAS ALREADY BROUGHT ME SO MUCH GLORY

AS I BEGIN TO TAKE THESE SIMPLE STEPS
I LOOK FORWARD TO THE PROMISE OF NO REGRETS

MY SOUL IS HUNGRY AS I TRY TO OPEN MY MIND
I GIVE THIS TO YOU MY HIGHER POWER
AND PRAY THAT THIS PROGRAM I WILL DEVOUR

NOW I SEE…
I AM NOT CRAZY
I AM JUST INSANE
BUT THE PROGRAM TELLS ME
IF I EARNESTLY WORK IT
SERENITY AND HUMILITY I WILL GAIN!!!

Humbly,

Kimmie Sue
