Yes and I remember reading it. I have read much aa conference approved literature and cannot remeber where I saw it.

Perhaps, it was an article in the Grape Vine, or one of the personal stories in the back of one of the editions of the Big Book. I've heard the expression being used in an A.A. meeting, but I don't recall reading it in A.A. literature... unless it was a personal story in one of the Big Book editions.
