That's one thing I love about this web site. It stays focused on A.A. Singleness of Purpose. I have checked out other sites and they are like a Heinz 57 mix of all sorts of purposes and I don't relate nor identify with them.

It's quite obvious that the AA 12 step program would be helpfull to nearly any psychic disorder or even just self-improvement or PMA discipline. Let them use it somewhere else.

BUT, there is no room for broadening the scope in AA context, in AA rooms. We have a specific common beast and united we stand against it.

Normies can go to Alanon. There are CA and NA. I'm here to recover from the ravages of alcoholism and that's all I want to hear about here.

AND, being anonymous I don't want to share my secrets with anyone who wouldn't understand like another alcoholic understands. I know to pre-redact my sharing in open meetings. No prob.
