To be decided on...

This morning while driving to work I was improving my conscious contact with God. There are a lot of changes that could be happening in my life over the next few months and I was considering those things with God this morning.

During my prayer I made the statement, "Today has already been decided on by you, it has yet to be decided upon by me".

Today has been decided on by God, it has yet to be decided on by us.

I think I might be chewing on that one for a while...

I like that. Thanks for sharing it. I am experiencing now how fragile my plans actually are. I am a planner with big ideas. When they don't go my way I experience self pity and sometimes anger. Today I am very clear that I do not run anything. All I can do is my best at each moment. I can have my plans but I can be a lot more peaceful when I leave the results to God. All I can do is the footwork and the outcome is His will and not mine.
