Starting over

I heard time and time again in my meetings that meeting makers make it. After almost 2 years of sobriety i quit going to meetings on a regular basis. The result is I drank again. I am not unique in this regard . It's back to the basics and time to get that spiritual relationship i had with God back in my life. It's easier to stay sober than to get sober for me. I would appreciate you keeping me in your prayers.

Welcome to the forums, and welcome back to Life!!!

I was going to two and three AA meetings a day right before my last time out. And, I was drunk within 13 hours of my last meeting.

For me, I would not have been able to say that "meeting makers make it." So, I had to look deeper than I did... in regards to why I got started again.

Once I figured that out... the hard way... it gave me a good foundation to build on.
