Thankful for Sobriety Today

Call me contented and grateful, especially today. It is the 9th anniversary of my sobriety. It's one day at a time, but every sober year gets better. The benefits of sobriety are nothing short of miraculous. I look back in wonder at the path I alone could never have found, which has brought me to this point.

Tim, Happy Birthday to you. I don't know you and haven't read any of your posts except this one, but it is a big one. Nine years is a long time without a drink, obviously you are doing something right. Good for you. I hope to see more of your posts and I will try to go back over your other posts and read them. Again, Happy Birthday, next year double digits, great.
