This day (26/11) in 1895, William Griffith Wilson was born in the town of East Dorset Vermont. He would have been 115 today!
I was lucky enough to visit the house there last year, a very touching experience.
I for one am grateful for the series of fragile threads that got Bill from that little town to NYC, to the failure in Akron, to the Mayflower hotel, to the gatehouse at Stan Hywet Hall and meeting Bob Smith, their strength and perseverance, and all the alcoholics between those two and us today that put us here now and able to help each other using this technology.
