Hi,
We were discussing tradition 2 last night when the subject of rotating group jobs came up.
The best explanation i heard was rotation makes sure we all get exposed to the solution. This means no one can spend his entire time in AA hiding in the kitchen pretending to look busy when they should be sitting in the body of the hall finding out what they have to do to really get well. This stops those of us who swap our addiction to booze for an addiction to ' busyness' pretending we're part of the solution because for the last 10 years we've been standing in the kitchen at the 3 groups we're a member of making coffee for ex-drunks who really need help?
I sure like that.
