You are climbing up the ladder of life, which reaches into eternity. Would God plant your feet upon an insecure ladder? Its supports may be out of sight, hidden in secret places, but if God has asked you to step on and up firmly, then surely He has secured your ladder. Faith gives you the strength to climb steadily this ladder of life. You should leave your security to God and trust Him not to let you fall. He is there to give you all the power you need to keep on climbing.
HHhmmmm ... yeah .... OSHA ! Ongoing Sobriety Higher Administrator
Having been in constrution for 35 years and now inspecting construction, I've always felt safer if I obeyed the OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) rules.
"Never use a damaged ladder." "Always wear an OSHA approved hard-hat." "Never use a power tool without a Ground Fault Interupter." "Wear a safety harness when working more than 14' above ground." "Wear safety glasses." "Wear steel toe and shank shoes."
Sometimes I start climbing and find out I left my tool belt on the ground.
"Wouldja throw me the right tool, HP?"
"Nope. I know you can't catch. Come get it."
" 'Ight ... comin' down."
Thanks for the analogy whoever "Meditation for the Day" is. I'm athinkin' again.
