I don't worry about it passing before my eyes as much as I worry about it passing underneath my feet 
Hey, quick question... some of you know I lost most the vision in my left eye... (I'm still working to get it back!)... does that mean... that if I die and my life passes before my eyes... that a bunch of the stuff will get erased - because I can't see it???
Depending on the answer... perhaps I should make some derangements to have my right eye poked out during my last few seconds of living! I wonder how I could arrange to derange that? |

Ok from a nursing standpoint...I really wouldnt suggest the whole, poking out of the eye business. It never works out the way you want it to!
So....were you planning on telling me about this problem? Remember...im a nurse!!!! I like to know these things!!! (that and im a woman and we like to know everything that goes on with everyone)
Besides...even if you cant see, all the beauty that is your life will still be vivid and wonderful as it passes by!!! |

I thought the whole world knew about all my problems!!!
The ones I have and the ones they think I have!!!
And, I thought that ALL women already know everything there is to know about me... or is it, just some of them "were born that way"?
JUST JOKING!!! People take the things I say serious... when seriously I'm not serious when I write it! Got to keep them thinking, you know!
"Thinking about me... leaves them little time to think about themselves"
Now, that's the real recipe for "helping others!" ... Anything you can do to help an alcoholic get their mind off themselves... and think about someone else... is a good deed indeed!

After I finished my step 4, my sponsor made me do the same thing with good stuff I'd done. I DID accidentally do some good stuff!
Dallas, I also have to remember that, when I'm typing my sometimes-too-sublte sarcastic humor, they can't see my leprechaun grin and the elven twinkle in my eye. (Sorry ... twinkie in my eye).
