Thanks so much to all of you!!! I hope to get as much out of this site as it seems the rest of you do. It is really really nice to read ALL of the positive messages in here, rather than listening to a lot of the negative I have been hearing. Don't get me wrong, I know some of the negative has been me and how I perceive what I'm hearing, but reality is also some of the people I have been around lately just aren't in the same space that I am looking for in sober people. I need more positive attitudes than I've been finding elsewhere.
So again, THANK YOU ALL, and I truly hope I get to know some/all of you on a more personal level.
God Bless! And have a GREAT day!!!!

Welcome Gina, Kim, Alicia & Heather!
Hi Cessie, Julie, Danni, Tina, Susan, Debbie and all the other beautiful sober women in our family. If I forgot you, please speak up or hit me over the head with the big book.
We are the awesomest because we are sober and living the AA program of recovery and hekping each other. We may as well throw away our day spa membership, because this program is the ultimate makeover and beauty enhancer!
Love you ladies. You help me every day just by sharing your heart.

Hi...Long time since someone responded to this thread so I am going to bump it.
My name is T and I am an alcoholic. 129 days sober today which for me is a huge deal.
Tomorrow I'm meeting with my sponsor to do my 5th Step. I am TERRIFIED.
4,5 and 9 are what kept me running (and drinking myself away) from this program for nearly 2 decades.
It seems like a miracle to have found this site because I have so many questions. I feel like a little kid wanting "good grades" at this and it is so helpful to see other people's experience, strength and hope.
Glad you are here,
KISS
