Have you ever thought about thanking the waitress or waiter for working this day so you could enjoy a meal or cup of coffee with friends or family.
I had a friend tell me about his expierence of doing that so I started thanking the wait staff for their time and effort in serving my table and leaving a larger tip than in the past.

I couldn't believe how thankful they were for the comment. I can't afford to take people for granted anymore. My lesson from step 8. Do I have compassion for my fellow man?

I do that in every business that I walk into. I thank the person for coming in today and let them know that I appreciate them. It helps me and they seem to appreciate it, too!
