Receiving strength, inspiration, and direction

Postby Dallas » Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:45 pm

Much has already been said about receiving strength, inspiration, and direction from Him who has all knowledge and power. If we have carefully followed directions, we have begun to sense the flow of His Spirit into us. To some extent we have become God-conscious. We have begun to develop this vital sixth sense. But we must go further and that means more action.

I love that line that he wrote! Especially, after I spent some time reflecting and contemplating it.

Then, to be explained with...

Bill W. then wrote:But we must go further and that means more action.

ACTION is the magic word!

ACTION is what changes my thinking and my awareness. I can't think myself into change and awareness -- but, I can take actions -- that will change my thinking and awareness. And, that, for me, is inspiring!

The simple idea of putting your head where your hands are works wonder.

Just do it (with apologies for the slogan)

I agree. It works much better than putting my hands where my head is!

"Point your body in the direction that it should go and keep it going there -- and your head will be sure to follow!"

That produces much better and more positive results for me than...

"letting my body follow in the direction that my head is headed..." (that always produces disaster for me).
