stupid question

I would like to ask you for your opinion in this subject?

Which is more important in our process of recovery, a first meeting or second one?

For me, my first meeting was more important at the time than my second one. The reason is: without the first one, there couldn't have been a second one!

My second, third, fourth and hundredth meetings were as important as my first meeting. I had a tendency not to follow through. While the first meeting got me started, the next meeting and the next and the next helped to keep me on track.

I don't like change and have more often had change thrust on me than I have chosen to change. And after not wanting to do what it takes to stay sober, I've done what it takes to stay sober.

I never asked the question because hitting bottom opened my mind and I became willing go every length at once.
I opened the door took chair and I have not lifted a drink since that date, thanks God.
Thats way I find first meeting as great day in my life, turning point.
Second one had never been considered by me, it was a simple consequence of first and so on.
Until we started founding new group just two guys Every newcomers been welcomed...like an oxygen

Eventually third guy arrived
We trayed our best to pass on the message and welcome so warm as We could. It seemed He got it.
next meeting third cup of coffee was unnecessary
I cant count how many times I,ve felt this little stab in heart.
Maybe We were not enough warm or said samethnig wrong,or we didnt say what we should, or...etc
I have been faced such cases hundreds. I cant say I got used to.
however it doesnt let me down and make me sad any more.
I lerned that gap between first and second meeting can be 1..2...3...10years
I appreciate new face on meeting but I am very HAPPY if I can see the fellow next meeting. then - WOW! he/she got it!!! got SOMETHING!!!

For me the first meeting was the most important. Because I realized I had a problem and I knew I needed help. And I also was there for me and not for anyone else.

As I went to more and more meetings I started to understand what it was all about. But the first step meeting was the most important for me.

what amazed me is that you have meeting at early morning 8.00

Is it for persons who can,t sleep?
Seriously - there is lack of such meetings in Poland

We are very lucky here to have meetings starting as early as 6am.

I guess they are for people who can't sleep, get up early or work makes it handy.
