:lol: Ok, I'm open minded. I'll bite. Is this about loss of memory, resentments, or just having common alcoholic character defects? :shock:

The root of this joke is the alcoholic's ferocious grip on his resentments and his inability to let go of them. So despite the dire circumstance of loss of memory characteristic of Alzheimer's, the ironic twist is that we alcoholics still remember our resentments!

After every blackout I ever came out of -- I couldn't remember much of anything other than who or what I was ticked off with!

Isn't that amazing? I couldn't remember where I parked my car, if I parked my car, if I drove my car, or even whether or not I had a car!

But, I wouldn't have any problem remembering who I was mad at!!!
