March in AA History

Couple of important figures died in March...

1881
Mar 21, Anne Robinson Ripley was born in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, IL to Joseph & Joyce Pierce Ripley. Anne Ripley became Mrs Dr Bob.

1888
Mar 18, Henrietta Sieberling was born in Lawrenceburg, KY, to Judge Julius A and Mary Maddox Buckler.

1919
Mar, Bill W sailed from Bordeaux, France on the S.S. Powhatan to NY Harbor.

1934
Mar, Lois quit her job at Macy’s to take Bill W to VT. They stayed there until the summer.

1935
Mar/Apr, Henrietta Sieberling (nicknamed “Henriâ€

Thats us been round the whole year month by month through AA history.

Its been fun to put together, and educational.

A sincere thank you for doing this, Geoff.

I have learned so much about AA and those who founded it, thanks to you. I know that I would have never learned this by myself. Of course, I never learn anything by myself! :lol:

Thanks to these great people that have given us a place to express ourselves and get help. If it wasn't for them then we may be lost and have no one or no where to go to talk to. I would like to say thanks to all of these famous people in my book for the AA History in March.
