Screams echoing, tears fall
A daughter yells at her dad
He stands in the corner with a sunken look
As she tells him he's pathetic and sad
A glass gets thrown against a dirty wall
As she falls to the floor on her knees
She raises her hands and she pleads above
"Dear God would you help him please".
The tears roll down his swollen cheeks
As he puts the shreds of glass in the sink
And he says to his daughter of 13 years
I'll be okay if I just get a drink.
