Yooohoooooooooo

Postby ~Jools~ » Thu Jul 21, 2011 2:40 pm

I'm bacccckkkk!!

Drinking ruined my life and destroyed me relationship with my step children.

Thankfully AA was there with open arms for me when I returned three long weeks ago.

Things immediately got better.

1. I slept the whole night thru. I didn't wake up with feelings of guilt, remorse and shame.

2. I no longer have to bring booze to work to stop the shakes so I can cut hair.

3. I have a loving sponsor who is willing to take time and get into the big book and working the steps with me.

4. I've lost 9 pounds and no longer am bloated from drinking so much.

5. I FEEL better about myself and those around me.

My biggest setback when getting sober, I stop going to meetings. That's not going to happen this time, not today anyway.

Julie
