HI FROM THE UK NEW MEMBER

Postby lampee1 » Thu Jan 19, 2012 1:52 pm

Hi All,

My name is Len attended my 1st meeting 14th November 2011 and have remained sober upto this day. I have a sponsor and have been sponsored through the 12th Step program. Currently attending regular meetings and seeking through step 11 to improve my conscious contact with God as I understand Him.

I have read the forum previously and have decide to rgister so I can share & learn from those who have gained more Wisdom & Knowledge.
I live close to Liverpool in the UK, I am very grateful for all those who have helped me and espeically those early pioneers.

God Bless Len :)

Welcome lampee,

But i thought all the liverpudlian alcoholics were up here living in Scotland?

In fact i went to a meeting with them last night?

We have the reds in the back seat and the blue's in the front, the banter was superb!

Welcome to the site!

Love,light,laughter

The last time i was in America (in fact it was the only time?) all the liquer stores had pictures of kilted Scotsman sliding down the bar painted on the outside wall of the store? :?

And when I think back to when I was a kid that’s the image of a ‘True’ Scotsman that I aspired too? :?

Made it!
