Hi Paula! My name is Dallas, and I'm an alcoholic and a seeker!

I have so much fun at sobriety and seeking -- that some may call me a Sober Tweaker! (I love laughter and I love humor. Before sobriety I didn't know how to laugh -- and when I was a newcomer I was in too much pain to laugh -- so, now I'm making up for it!).

I think this is a good idea that you've got! I'm in with you!

I wonder how many others have enough courage to join in with us?

Hi,

Just back from the movies with my grankids. Before the main film we watched a short kids film about real life toys that met to discuss what it was liked to be shunned and neglected by there former owners, these same owners they had gone all out to please.

It was a parody of an AA meeting with mermaids and other fantasy figures sitting around a room discussing there feelings and saying what it was like to be dumped in the ' ball pit of life' and 'after all we'd done for them!'

It was so close to the real thing i couldnt contain myself!

Be sure to pass on the name of the kid's movie to me, so I can watch it, too! I learn a lot of "what should be grown up stuff" from watching kid movies!

A movie I need to go watch, that was suggested to me is: "A King's Speech." Anyone here seen that one?

To be honest Dallas i never caught the name of it. We sat down to watch the new muppets movie, which is a kids film for adults, and this short film appeared out of no where?

And yes i've seen ' The Kings Speach'. Its a good movie but a bit long. I think if that lead actor didn't stammer so much we'd all have got home an hour earlier!
