@Dallas, I just thought this would be a good way for people to say hi...I'm ok if you want to start another one or erase this one. I'm here all day m-f 8am to 5pm (working) and there is so much good info I never run out of things to read!

May the days blessings be upon you.

Made contact with the God of my understanding this morning before going along to the morning meeting where i was asked to share in front of the men and women who seen me at my lowest when i 1st came in the rooms so there was no fooling them. Whilst there i arranged to pick up a newcomer and take him to my step group meeting tomorrow night. He reminded me so much of myself as a kid with the wooly hat pulled down over my eyes so the world couldnt see who was in there. All this while my wife went to my granddaughters 7th birthday party with our other 3 grandkids and my son,daughter and their partners. Did this guy who came into AA with nothing make all that possible? I think not.

PS, i know some of my recent comments of here have been a bit of the wall and if i could take them back i would but thats all part of my particular learning curve i'm afraid. Will stick to what i do best from now on, read! :lol:

My reflection this morning. I love living from a place of believing in miracles. It sets such a positive tone for the day ahead and i feel anything is possiblle if I stay sober by doing the work that HP asks of me. I love the idea of having a new Employer. My Employer has some responsibilities he asks of me; trying to be kind and considerate, being of service, and many more. I feel there is something miraculous in the simplicity of the program.

The programs asks so little of me compared to the demands alcohol (unknowingly at the time) demanded of me. I am so grateful that a light finally turned on for today.
