Oh what an order this is! Trying to figure out how to set this topic up. LOL
Somebody help me! LOL
Update: Well. I think I got it figured out. If you desire it enough -- you'll seek help.
If you seek help and you don't find it -- and you desire it enough -- you'll figure it out. Eventually.
I lived a lot of years of my life needing help but not knowing that I needed help.
I'm not the kind of guy that admits -- to needing help with anything.
To need help or to ask for help -- in my book -- was a sign of weakness.
Only girls and girly guys ask for help or seek help. Not a real man, right?
Trying to be a "real man" nearly killed me. Matter of fact, "to be a real man" was the 2nd reason that I originally turned to drugs. And, I didn't want to be just a normal, every day, tract house, lunch box toting "real man." I wanted to be different. I wanted to be a real Super Man. Can you guess where that got me? LOL. It got me to lots of places that I had no intention of ever even imagining that I would get to!
Sure, there were very brief periods of success. But they always seemed to end up at the bottom of a barrel of some pitiful and incomprehensible experience.
One thing that I learned? Yep. It's true. Real men, the smart ones (not the dumb ones) -- really do ask for help when they need it.
