Bound together a common thread

This disease that drowns all and any for dead

Cunning baffling the Big Book declares

A malady wrought with hunger

To devour all any who dare

The few who seek the only reprieve

As no remedy no cure for this insidious one

Shall bond soon after we come to believe

As the survivors of a horrific calamity

Yet so much stronger

For one another we need

Strength in fellowship carries our word

Reprieve to those work what they've heard...
