How many recovered alcoholics from California does it take to change a light bulb? 8) :

Six--one to change the light bulb, one (preferably a sponsor) to support the ladder, and four others to share the experience.

How many practicing alcoholics does it take to change a light bulb?

Only one. The alcoholic stands there with the bulb at the base of the socket and waits for the light bulb to be screwed into place, because the whole world revolves around him.

These are great! Good stuff to add to meetings that are wandering. Tell a joke, then get them back on topic.

I want more!

And, I did a lot of drinking in Washington!!!

Imagine that!

Must be something in the fish.

I did a lot of fishing in Washington, too!

Someday... it would be awesome to visit and fish there sober!!!

I used to refer to it as "God's Country" because it's so beautiful up there!

How many Washington recovered alcoholics does it take to catch a fish?

Answer: They don't catch any fish. Their always too busy going to meetings and posting experience, strength and hope in recovery forums!

It only takes one Washington alcoholic fisherman to change a light bulb. But you should have seen the size of that light bulb. It was THIS big!

There are a lot of recovered fisherman alcoholics in AA here. I'm an ex-Californian who did a geographic to Washington State and got sober here.

OK! How may recovered Colorado alcoholics does it take to change a light bulb?

None! We're so illumined from taking those Rocky Mountain high steps that we don't NEED lightbulbs!

I believe it, Sunlight (good screen name if you're from Colorado) Recovered alcoholics from Alaska don't change light bulbs either. They've learned to accept the darkness as God's will for their lives.

How many alcoholics from Minnesota does it take to change a light bulb?
Only one, but first they have to admit that the old light bulb is out.
