Happy Valentine's Day

Postby Tim » Sat Feb 14, 2009 3:15 pm

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! May we each experience love in all our relationships--with our Higher Power, with others and with ourselves.

I have been able to enjoy 12 sober Valentine's Days with my Sweetie, a gift for both of us.

Loving wishes, also, for a Happy Valentines Day to all of you!

Thank you for sharing your love & sobriety with me.

I LOVE YOU!
Love is eternal. So is action.

Love is action.
When there is no action -- there is no love.

Love is not a feeling.
Love is a doing -- that sometimes gets felt.

Love is a verb.
Love is only love when we're doing it.

Love as a noun -- is the same as like or lust.

Love does not require like or lust as a requirement for love.

And, Love is still Love, without like or lust, and without feeling.

The other stuff is something else.

Everyday can be Love Day.

What would it be like for us -- if we made every day Love Day?

Yup that's pretty nice Dallas. I like it.

And a slightly belated Happy Valentine's Day to everyone who celebrates. This year was the best one I've ever celebrated.

God bless and Love to all.

It was my 22 or 23 consecutively sober valentines days... with no drinking in between... (it's more fingers and toes than I have so the math was too difficult to calculate)... and I was hoping that cupid would show up! Since the cupid is not alcoholic... he was probably enjoying a nice Pina Colada with some little chickadees on a warm beach down in the Bahamas!

Even though Cupid didn't make it down my chimney... or through my door or window... it was still a great sober day!

Thank you, Joseph!

Love & joy to you also. :D

Everyday is Valentine's Day when we have a heart full of gratitude & love, & we share it.

Happy April Fools Day too!  :P
