Hi yall,I`m Tommy and I am a alcoholic

I live in NC and have been active in aa and sober since 8-6-88

I have a sponser,sponsee`s and a homegroup.

I love the Big Book and 12x12 and try and read some daily. One of my favorite things is those old time "guidence meetings" the early aa`s and Oxford Groupers used to hold.
They are awesome!

Hope you all are doing great today!
thanks

Welcome, again, Tommy!!! Glad you're here. I asked where you were located... in another post. That's before I read this one. I've heard about some of the great AA that they have in N.C. Also, I have a sister with 11 years sober, who has a husband 20 years sober, who moved to NC earlier this year. They speak very highly of the AA experience they've found there. It sure would be nice to sit in on one of those Guidance meetings like you mentioned... being held by some AA's who had some experience with them. You're very fortunate!!!
