Alcohol & Drug Addiction Step 4 Help! |
The Sobriety Calculator - below, will calculate how long you've been sober, in months, weeks, days, minutes, seconds and miliseconds -- it will also tell you on what day of the week you got sober! In AA it's very important to have a Sobriety date. Your Sobriety date is the date of your last drink -- as a result of using the AA Program of Recovery outlined in the first 164 pages of the book Alcoholics Anonymous. If you'd like to use it -- just enter your Sobriety date in the fields below and click the submit button. It will tell you how many days, months, hours, seconds and miliseconds you've been sober. Note: If your using the FireFox browser you'll may whacky results. Not sure why FireFox has a problem... but you may have a problem if you're using it. Recently, I heard of a new member, when asked "How long have you been sober?" replied: "Well, I had 90 days -- but today I had a drink -- so, I guess now I have 89 days." I hope he keeps coming back -- because it doesn't work that way. My AA Sobriety Birthdate is more important to me than my natal birthdate - because without Sobriety as a result of the Program of Recovery in Alcoholics Anonymous -- I wouldn't be alive to celebrate my natal birthdate.
